Add a Pop of Color to your New Year!

Give emphasis to a neutral room by adding a few smart hits of color.

Accent walls can be a powerful design choice in your home. They break up the traditional look of having four walls that are painted the same color. They draw your eye to a particular part of the room. And they give you a chance to play around with color in your house in a new way. A brightly-colored wall should only be added to a room where the other three walls are white or neutral. Or, you can also use a darker shade in the same color family (as the lighter other walls) to pull attention to one wall or area.

You can also use accent pieces or accesories for a pop of color.

Royal & Company known as Royal TOTO revealed a stylish faucet that changes colors with the variation in water temperature. If the temperature is less than 26 degrees, the color is Blue, 26 degrees 38 degrees 42 changes color to green, 38 degrees in the Red. If you are a shower person then you know that the most difficult part of this daily activity is to set the water temperature right for you. Once you have done this, the rest is child’s play.

But this can be annoying in the morning when you get directly under the shower and you get either burnt or freezing until succeeding to get it right. Well, now you have this nice and ingenious faucet from TOTO that shows you the right temperature by displaying a certain colour. If you know the temperature that changes the colour of the faucet, then you know exactly how many degrees your water has at the moment.Go for the green as it is the optimum temperature, while red is too much and blue too low.

I`m back, I was offline for one day! So , let’s talk today about this Touch Screen Faucet by Fima. I`m sure that you have a touch screen device in your home, this faucet from Fima is the latest trend featuring  sleek lines, a simple shape and stylish stainless steel, enhanced by buttons galore; sensitive to touch screen technology to preset your ideal water temperature and control your water usage, making this an elegant and environmentally responsible bathroom essential.

Check it out at Fima. Maybe the old-fashioned people would criticize it, but I personally believe that this is something normal in an age of technology improvements being developed as we speak. And why should we keep all the old habits and do ever4ything manually when we can be highly accurate and do it digitally? No need to spend a quarter of an hour just trying to set the right temperature for your bath when you can adjust it with a simple touch of a button.

Touch Faucets by Hego WaterDesign

HEGO presented the new collection I. WO, I.WO.e which are 2 projects in stainless steel, formally similar but with two souls, two technologies and two different interfaces and an electronic design which puts the controls at your fingertips with touch buttons.This modern faucet comes with a spout which can be angled to your needs, bringing customizable comfort to your bathroom. And since we live in a digital era and everything else is digital, why not a digital bathroom faucet, too?

The guys from HEGO must have thought like this when they designed the Touch faucets and then released them on the market. The faucet works like most of our electronic appliances: there is a special button for each feature and you only need to press the right button in order to get what you want. There is one button for turning off/on the water, one for increasing the volume, for decreasing it, for hot or cold water, etc.

There are also two little wheels behind the tap, also used for commanding it. In this case my advice is to read the technical book before you actually use it because otherwise you might meet some difficulties.

I’m really happy to start this New Year with a new article! The Tube faucet by Sergio Bonomi puts an elegant spin on the industrial with simple chrome T-pipe shape complemented by a high-polished finish.. This minimalist faucet’s clean lines are unspoiled by clumsy taps and knobs and buttons; this sleek, streamlined faucet features a single spout and an integrated handle, proving in this case that less really is more.

I usually like a lot the minimalist features that have that extremely simple look and that yet still manage to be functional and useful And this one is no exception. I like this feature. It’s so simple and even elegant, even if we are only talking about a faucet.

The bathroom is often a neglected room. People don’t spend a lot of time when thinking about this room’s design or furniture pieces and features They just go in the sore and buy something fast so that they can get it over with. The faucet is probably the most neglected features of all. And it’s a shame because there so many beautiful and interesting designs that you could have in your bathroom, like this one for example. All you need is a little more patience and time.

Modern Eden Bathroom Fixtures by Bandini

The collection from Bandini called Eden will change your old bathroom design into a futuristic and modern trend. Designed by Italian designer Marco Pisati, these modern bathroom fixtures are projected with sleek lines and a cool, chrome finish. I like it when I see simple and modern bathroom features. That is a room that doesn’t need a lot of details. It’s supposed to be mainly functional. Of course, the aesthetic aspect can’t be neglected, so a combination between the two is the perfect choice. And this collection has it all. It’s simple, very functional and it has a nice modern look.

The only thing I don’t really like is the shower head. I don’t thin it shares the same design like all the other features. To me, it looks more like a flower, which could be interesting, but not if it’s made of steel and with no color. All the other pieces are so simple, sleek and minimalist, and this one is…different. I wouldn’t include it in the same collection as the others items presented here. But overall I really like this collection. As you can see at a closer look, it has very nice curved lines that really make it look beautiful. Another detail: you should ask for an expert’s help when it comes to assembling the pieces.

I don’t think you can ever find a faucet simpler than this one. It’s a minimalist design that adds indisputable elegance to any bathroom, regardless of the style that you have chosen for the rest of the features or the design you have chosen for the interior. Not only that but this faucet also features the latest trend in terms of technological developments in this domain. The touch sensors allow you to easily control the temperature of the water as well as the pressure. This faucet makes the old ones look like piece of junk, no offense to those who still own them.

I still have to deal with the old, outdated and noisy faucet design, like most of us have to do. When looking at this new faucet design and its features, it almost seems like a dream. But unlike the dreams you have at night, this one has a real chance of becoming true.

These faucets have a very interesting design with beautiful details sculpted on the surface. They are definitely modern and would look great in a bathroom that shares the same style. It’s a shame that not many people pay attention to these details. The bathroom in an important room of the house and should be treated this way.

Zucchetti Freestanding Red Faucet

Freestanding faucets aren’t my cup of tea but I still tend to like creativity like the most of you and hence I do not have a real problem from this red freestanding faucet being offered by Zucchetti. It may look ordinary to you at the first glance but you can be rest assured that an Italian brand name will never offer you something utterly basic.

Use it as tub filler or an ally to your freestanding basin, this item marking 10 years of the Isy Project is capable of flaring spice courtesy of the red coloration. It does remind you of the farmhouse water-pump, but it is much more modern with a hand-held tub-filler and a single lever function. Just in case you do not like the red, you can always opt for the colors black or white.

Jaeseok Han Designed Tempdot Faucet Concept

It is designers like Jaeseok Han who are determined to take us into the future we can only dream about as of now. The sci-fi world could become real if concepts like the Tempdot are given a chance to exist as quickly as possible. In the simplest of terms, Tempdot from Jaeseok is a faucet that uses the minimum possible metal and yet seeks to be stylish in its very functionality.

The dots you see atop this faucet are meant to start/stop water flow and also control the temperature of water at the same time. These lights in theTempdot concept are charged by the hot water flowing through the system. A great concept which tells us that a brighter future is ever so near!

Nowadays the kitchen has become the center of attention and when you have some latest technology for kitchen is awesome. It’s nice when you have all these options that technology gives you. I’m not sure that it’s necessary to have a touch-screen faucet, but since there is one we might as well use it. For those who like to keep up with the technological discoveries and who love to go shopping for new features that can improve their lifestyle, this is just another example of new features.

This new kitchen faucet would look great in a modern kitchen. Of course the rest of the kitchen features would have to be at the same level. So the next time you’re renovating your home or just your kitchen, keep in mind this new faucet. It has a very simple design, with clean lines and no details, except for the touch-screen. And when you think about it, we have touch-screens on our phone, cars and other items, so we might as well take advantage of this feature and include it in other pieces as well.

Tapi or the portable water fountain

If you have children then you know that going out for a walk can be a real adventure and you can be forced to find solutions for the most unusual and unexpected problems. And the smaller they are the bigger the trouble. For example they are always thirsty and if they forgot their water bottle at home or simply finished it they will start screaming for some water. But what to do when there is no shop around and the only source of water is an old nasty looking public tap and there are no cups anywhere near you? This can be a serious problem, as kids don’t know how to sip water from your cupped hands. Well, fortunately, some smart guys from Dreamfarm have thought of this situation and invented Tapi.

Tapi is an original rubber device that can be easily attached to any tap and can be removed after using. It can be used as such or , if you squeeze its end, it will look like a water fountain and your kid will be able to drink that water that springs out of it on the side of the tap.
