The Bridle Road Residence in Cape Town, South Africa is the recipient of a 2010 Award of Honor and the American Society of Landscape Architects. The project architect is Antonio Zaninovic while the interiors are designed by Rees Roberts and its partners. The house is nestled at the foot of Table Mountain and surrounded by protected natural parks on three sides. It offers splendid views over the Atlantic Ocean, the city and the port at the same time. Among the coolest features of the house are the rear deck and garden, a waterfall built into the side of the house, and a natural pool. The pool is ecologically balanced and self-cleaning facilities using, sand and gravel. The pool water flows upward reflection in a pool in a private courtyard above. Then he washes the side of the house of the waterfall that flows over the window of a bathroom inside and a sauna. This side of the house is really a beautiful place to spend time.
