This modern house was designed by A4estudio, located in Mendoza, Argentina. This house is called Casa Codina and built around a big central courtyard, the main spaces are opened to a larger garden. The structure of the house is built of concrete, wood, aluminum and different boards. The wood is unusual, it’s called guatambu. Some walls can change their look according to the light. Everything in the house is made from the point of view of natural ventilation and moving of the air masses due to the hot climate in Argentina so it’s house was made green, optimizing weather conditions. The public area are oriented to the north, the private spaces are oriented to the east and service areas – to the west. [ noticiasarquitectura ]
