This 500m2 modern house situated between Amsterdam, Amstelveen and Ouderkerk aan de Amstel, designed by Amsterdam based architectural firm VMX Architects. The starting point for the concept is the perception of the landscape, the tall buildings away from the Zuid As and Rembrandt Tower and the view from the plane trip to and from Schiphol. The basement contains an additional program such as a fitness room and a home cinema.The living room and kitchen are arranged in a loft-like space on the first floor. Bedrooms and bathrooms are situated on the ground floor, orientated towards the garden on the backside.
