This house was designed by MinDay, located in rural Iowa, Lake Okoboji. The lake itself is surrounded by oak trees that form a canopy around the beautiful lake, which separates the extent of agricultural land beyond. The whole design is based on the lake and consists of a series of space images, which also provides private and public spaces. Executives of the house also provides owners with more privacy when they are at home. living areas are open to lake views and woodland, but visually close neighbors on the sides. The exterior of the house is in the coating of sustainably harvested Ipe, concrete and aluminum panels. The interior continues the theme of naturalism and also has a large number of details in wood and neutral colors. Photography Paul Crosby. [ digsdigs ]
