The New Home of Vitra’s Home Collection by Herzog & de Meuron

The Vitra house

This five-storey house was designed by Jacques Herzog and Pierre de Meuron. This very beautiful house taken from concept-house stacked everywhere and still make it look new, interesting and inviting. This five-storey house contains 12 separate houses, Vitra House directed to the general public, the design-conscious consumers will appreciate the building and the Vitra products in it. All appeared well strange grand and intimate at the same time, with gray exterior camouflage tangled pile in the site, while the tip of the glass-walled open and cool, white interior to facilitate the presentation of displays residential scale. Vitra House is the newest addition to the Vitra Campus continues to grow that began as an industrial area with manufacturing facilities. Now the Vitra Design Museum – Frank Gehry building Europe’s first opened in 1989 – Conference Pavilion by Tadao Ando (1993) and Fire Station by Zaha Hadid (1993) have provided visual appeal remarkable.
